Paula Mongey
Multidisciplinary Artist and Arts Educator
Paula Mongey is a Dublin-based multidisciplinary artist and educator who uses folklore, nature, and storytelling to bring people together across generations, abilities, and backgrounds.
With over 25 years of experience, Paula works at the intersection of creativity and community creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where people of all ages can explore ideas, share stories, and learn from one another. Her collaborative, hands-on practice is rooted in conversation and co-creation, drawing on storytelling, fable, folklore, and eco-art to help participants engage with nature and their own narratives in meaningful ways.
Paula has a particular commitment to working with neurodiverse communities, designing creative experiences that meet people where they are and respond to the way they experience the world. Her work consistently gives voice to perspectives that might otherwise go unheard built project by project, relationship by relationship, in the communities where she works.

Paula holds a BA in Drama Studies from TU Dublin and a Master's in Arts and Engagement from MTU Crawford College of Art and Design. Paula is a Creative Associate with Creative Schools and a facilitator with the Teacher-Artist Partnership, BLAST, and Creative Clusters. Her work is supported by South Dublin County Council Arts Office, Creative Ireland, and the Arts Council of Ireland.
