Arts, Health and Wellbeing
Sometimes, the most powerful art is not the end result, it may be discovered in the process, the exploration, the conversation or the connection.

Five Ways to Wellbeing
Connect • Be Active • Take Notice • Keep Learning • Give
Wellbeing is at the heart of Paula’s socially engaged practice. As a creative practitioner, she is there to support and guide, enabling participants’ voices to come to the fore. She understands wellbeing as a sense of vitality, purpose, and connection, which grows when we feel seen, heard, and part of something meaningful. Through creative work that invites us to use all our senses, Paula helps people connect with each other and with their own experiences. Her sessions often involve movement or making, encouraging people to be active in ways that feel natural and enjoyable. She creates space to slow down and take notice of colours, textures, sounds, and stories that might otherwise pass us by. In every interaction, there is always room to keep learning about ourselves, each other, and the world we share. And in coming together, there is always an opportunity to give, whether it’s time, attention, or simply a kind word. Paula’s practice shows how small, shared creative moments can gently support emotional, social, and mental well-being.
