Young at Art offers a glimpse into an arts project that brings together residents of the Trust Us Day Care Centre with children from Blossoms Crèche in Killnarden, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Led by artist Paula Mongey during her residency at Trust Us, the project unites the youngest and oldest members of the community in shared creative exploration. Through collaborative workshops, participants discover their voices, build new connections, and challenge generational divides.
For the older generation, this project has been particularly empowering. It offers visibility, purpose, and the joy of being seen and heard. For the children, it fosters empathy and respect. Together, they celebrate the power of imagination to connect lives and promote understanding.
