The Wolfhound and the Robin
A Mythical Friendship Comes to Life at Scoil Íosagáin
In a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and imagination, Scoil Íosagáin in Dublin 12 has brought to life a heartwarming project through the Creative Schools initiative. Guided by mural artist Vauney Strahan, fibre artist Valerie Dunne, Videographer Mary Guinan, Creative Schools coordinator Keith Armstrong, and Creative Associate Paula Mongey, students and staff embarked on a collaborative journey rooted in Irish myth and friendship.
The result? A stunning artistic project that tells the tale of an unlikely but enduring friendship between a wolfhound and a robin, a powerful symbol of unity, kindness, and understanding across differences.
This magical project was made possible through the Creative Schools Initiative, proudly supported and funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.
